Need to paint a dresser?
I am wanting to paint a dark cherry oak dresser to a light oak. how would i go around doing that?
I would take it to a furniture refinisher. It's a bit to extensive of a project to do at home unless you are already set up for that kind of a project.
But you would want to make sure it is Solid Wood-not veneer or press board.
Strip the finish off.
Do a test to see if you could stain it light oak.
Otherwise you'll want to faux finish it.
